Some questions re: speed buffs.
Hey guys,
I've been looking through these forums and reading skill descriptions, and a few of them seem to be quite ambiguous. I was hoping some of you with empirical experience/evidence/stop watches have figured some of these things out:
Q1: TF and other skills say attacks are 33% faster. Does that mean that attack speed is reduced by 1/3, or 1/4? (i.e., if it used to be 1 attack every 1.33 seconds, is it now 1.33 attacks every 1.33 seconds = 1 attack per second, OR does it become 1 attack every [1.33 * .67 =] .89 seconds?)
Q2: Are they stackable? (And if so, is it addative or multiplicative?) i.e. can I have two skills that both give attack speed buffs (This may just be a technical question... are all attack speed buffs stances?)
Q3: Are running speed buffs stackable? (And if so, is it addative or multiplicative?) I would assume not for play balance reasons, but I have yet to run an ele with sprint to test it. =P
Thanks in advance for any replies!!

i dont know about attack speed buffs but when i played with my W and i rushed with someone else then i use Charge! so both of us run 33% faster and then i hit Sprint ... i seemed to run slightly faster than my friend... so i'd say that it might be something like this :
say you normally run 1 meter in 1 second... then with Charge! youd run 1 meter in .66 second... then with Sprint stacked you'd run 1 meter every .4489 second...
so the equation would look like that :
T: Time needed to do the action
T - (T * 0.33(first buff)) = New T
then
New T - (New T * 0.33(second buff)) = New stacked T
So the second buff would be only 22.11% of the original T since i guess it would be 33% of the buffed speed which is already 33% faster than the original...
Dont take this as a affirmation as i dont have any way to confirm it at all... it is only suppositions after observations and might be totaly wrong.
If anyone has any *Official* link on this subject i would also want this point clarified out.

speed buffs work like this: 33% "attack speed increase" actually = 33% attack time reduction. so a 33% "attack speed increase" mod actually equals a 50% IAS (increased attack speed, term from D2). most ASI (attack speed increase in GW) mods are stances. there's only one skill that can stack with them, I will avenge you. basically, if you have say frenzy (33% ASI) and I will avenge you catches a dead ally in your vicinity, giving you another 33% ASI bonus, your attack speed will be changed to 150% * 150%, or 225%

Movement speed buffs do not stack.
No idea if attack speed buffs attack, never used I will avenge you.
Pretty sure 33% means 1.33 *.67 (unlike Diablo), so it is a 50% buff. Nice eh.

Thanks guys! That makes TF that much better than I thought it was... I'll need to look into it again, lol.
